The Law

Coach
JD Read

Species:
Forge Fathers

Players:
Sherriff
Riot
FiveO
K-9
Fuzz
Deputy
Long Arm
Pursuit

Tactics:
Laying down the Law. They are the Law. Use of "Rapid Fire" and "Double Whammy"

History:
Following their terrible first season, A Forge Father team known as The Arkand Ramz returned to Arkand Training Facilities for a debrief, and in what seems to be a completely random act of violence the facilities were attacked by Anti Corporation Rebel Forces.

In the following fire fights, in which Ramz Captain "Rampage" managed to kill off 4 rebels (something he failed to do on pitch) all of the Ramz Personnel were killed or captured. The rebel forces then proceeded to use the facility as a FOB to conduct raids on the Arkand Corp Mining Stations (Arkand supply most of the Corporations Titan Weapons Grade Alloy) and held the Ramz players and coaches to ransom.

Meanwhile the Council of Seven concluded that the loss in production could not be ignored and a tender was published for the return of the Arkand Facility and restoration of full production levels.

Enter SecuriCorp, the galaxies finest in World Security and Law enforcement. These guys stepped in all too quick and eager say some Die Hard Ramz fans.

They were efficient - Within 3 Days all rebels had suspiciously disappeared. Now released from their captors, but without an owner or corporation to pay the wages The Arkand Ramz seemed destined to be a team best forgotten. And so ended the Arkand Ramz...........

But with so much speed that no one is under any illusion as totheir origins SecuriCorp announced they would be funding the creation of a new Dreadball team to bring order to the pitches. They would be called "The Law". Coached by the formidable PT Team at SecuriCorps state of the art Training and Correction facilities. Coach Captain J D Read, Serg K Nuckles and Officer M Urphy insist upon the highest standards backed up by "Cheerleaders" (Civil Enforcement Officers) to ensure the crowd is on their side of "The Law".

In recent released training footage The Law can be seen pulling off trade mark "Ramz" plays such as the often not successful passing game now called "Rapid Fire" and some strong defensive plays such as "Double Whammy" if you listen carefully to the team huddles you can just make out the faint chant of "For Rampag..

Tactics
Running around skittishly in the hope of picking up the ball, and generally not listening to Doc Manrattan.

History
Formed by the obsessive mad Doc Manrattan who was trying to revive his career as a genetic scientist. His self experimentation with genetics resulted in him being changed into a form of man rat, with faster reactions, and a new taste for decaying waste but still with his superior intellect intact.

After finding a batch of lab rats he decided he could transform the rats into a similar state that he now was. An evil plan formed in his mind, if he could perfect his hypothesis he would have a super army of intelligent rats that he could use to aggressively take over numerous corporation. Eventually his experiments with uranium and plutonium resulted in the rats growing into man sized beasts.

However, the man sized rats were no more intelligent than an average sewer rat as a result his plan had failed. With little money left, Doctor Manrattan decided there was only one option, he would have to enter his super rats into the local Dreadball League with the hope of earning enough credits to start a new experiment...

Marcelle Beta
Marcelle Charlie
Marcelle Delta
Marcelle Echo
Marcelle Foxtrot
Marcelle Golf
Marcelle Hotel
Marcelle Indigo
Marcelle Juliette

Species:
Zees

Tactics:
Chaos, Confusion, and Madness

History:
Professor Tribbiani was a high ranking scientist working on teleportation pods for the Corporation. His experiments had been very succesful in teleporting inanimate objects from one pod to another, and one day he decided to advance the experiment to the next phase.

A laboratory monkey named Marcelle was chosen as the test subject, and was placed in pod A. Confident that all possible outcomes had been accounted for, Professor Tribbiani flipped the switch.

Sparks flew, blinding lights flared through the pod portholes, and thick black smoke plumed from the machinery and filled the laboratory. When the dust finally settled, Tribbiani prized open the Pod B door and not one, but ten identical monkeys spilled out over the floor.

The disappointment was crushing and to compound matters the Council of Seven was furious at the lack of progress and cut all funding to Professor Tribbiani's work.

Now working alone in complete exile, Professor Tribbiani was eventually able to fix the replication issue, and even found use for his ten Marcelle's as laboratory assistants. However he soon grew frustrated with their lack of intelligence, and sought a solution.

After a particularly disturbing nights sleep, Tribbiani awoke with a fully formed plan in his mind - he would teleport himself alongside the ten Marcelle's, thus fusing his consciousness with their own, and giving him the ability to control them. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to Tribbiani he was carrying his packed lunch (one regular banana) in his pocket when he conducted the experiment, and not only was his conscious fused with that of the Marcelle's, but the banana was also fused with his.

Now, completely mad with the thoughts of ten identical monkeys occupying one half of his brain, and a banana occupying the other, Professor Tribianni has decided to train his only friends, his chums the Marcelle's in the art of Dreadball, and compete in the Outpost Leagues in a desperate attempt to win back the respect he deserves.

The Killika Beasts

Coach
John 'Shep' Shepherd

Marauders

Team
#2 G'Waaar
#3 Kor'Man
#4 'Ard Top
#10 Z'Earo
#5 Jona
#6 Jack
#7 Jimmy
#8 Jayne
#9 Jameson

Tactics
Giving a Beasting: Mame and kill the opposition, when there's no opposition, throw the ball around.

History
The Killika Pipe Production Company (KPP co.) started life as a corporation plant with a successful team, but was "acquired" buy marauders expanding into a legitimate market. In essence this was true but the real intentions were to turn the pipe factory in to munitions barrel factory.

As more of the staff work was outsourced to goblins so more of the team were replaced with Orx. This was until there were no humans on the team and games against the Beasts turned into more of a mass brawl then a Dreadball match.

After a hefty fine from the OP League, the Killika Beasts were forced to recruit players that knew how to play the game, or face expulsion from the league and losing their front. Unfortunately all that would play for them were the workers that used to watch the brawls. Which left the games largely the same but with some of the team at least using the ball (no-one said they had to score).

Although they win a alot of their matches, the Beasts haven't advanced much in season league play. But they have been tournament Champions. They continue to play, causing the most injuries per game as possible, becoming one of the most fan loved and highest rated teams. Thus hiding the company's true intentions.
